The advantages of the cast iron or aluminium centrifugal multistage Continental Industrie manufactures are mainly the simple design and mechanical reliability, both highly important for this application.
The air characteristics (variable flow with constant vacuum and driver shaft power proportional to the used flow) allow our machines to run with a stable flow no matter how many active operators there are. The energy consumption is thus proportional to the number of inlet nozzles actualy being used. The operating characteristic therefore generates an important energy savings.
