Drainage or drainage work involves eliminating groundwater or surface water. The liquid sludge is pumped to a press filter through the collector located in the stationary head. As the sludge fills each chamber of the press, the liquid passes through the filter cloth and drain field.

The primary role of filter media is to offer a supporting framework for the development of the filter cake. Throughout the process, larger sludge particles gradually close the filter openings, reducing their size. The smallest particles eventually close these openings completely, allowing the filter cake to form. Our Multistage Centrifugal Compressors play a crucial role by providing the pressure necessary to drive the sludge to the filtration system.
