Smoke black is derived from a petroleum oil-based substance, introduced into a specially adapted combustion chamber and heated to approximately 950 ºC. This process produces carbon black gas and dust.
These byproducts pass through several filters that extract the dust. Water is added to the resulting powder to obtain larger granules, which are then dried and processed. This resulting black powder is utilized in various products, including the manufacturing of tires and printing cartridges.
Our compressors play a crucial role by supplying air to the burners in the combustion chamber. The simplicity and mechanical reliability of our equipment, coupled with its excellent performance curve, make them well-suited for this application.
